The Global Eye Programme began in 2009 with ‘Korean Eye’, showcasing the best of Korean art at London’s Saatchi Gallery. By 2020, it had grown into a truly international platform, featuring exhibitions, publications, awards, and art fairs across the globe.

In 2023, the founders of the Global Eye Programme decided to relaunch the Global Eye Awards as the ‘RAFAA Art Awards’ in Riyadh, creating the Oscars of Art in Riyadh.
