THE GLOBAL VOTE
Pre-produced video profiles of all contenders will be shared on social media to promote the event, which will be streamed live. A feed will be provided to broadcasters, and edited highlights will be distributed to news agencies and posted online. Social media transforms the RAFAA’s into a dynamic, global experience, boosting engagement, expanding reach, and shaping cultural conversations in real time. It serves as a vital communication platform for the event.
The RAFAA Awards Selection Process
The RAFAA Awards are supported by a dedicated online portal that ensures the entire process is smooth, transparent, and accessible.
To qualify, emerging artists submit a portfolio in a specific category to the Judging Panel. The Judging panel will be made by up by of seven judges, including one from Saudi Arabia and one from the world of football.
Emerging Artists are not defined by sex or age, but have not been commercially exhibited.

Qualifiers
To ensure the maximum participation regional qualifiers will take place in London, Hong Kong and Riyadh. Each qualifier will select two artists per category to take part in the RAFAA's.
Artist Vignettes
The RAFAA’s will produce 36 short, one-minute artist vignettes, each introducing an artist, their background, and their work. These stories will be showcased at the live Awards ceremony and broadcast internationally.
Public Vote
A global public vote will decide the six RAFAA Award Winners. The public will also choose the RAFAA Artist of the Year.
Lifetime Achievement Award
Separately, the Judging Panel will honour one artist with the RAFAA Lifetime Achievement Award. (Previous winners automatically become members of the RAFAA Academy).
